PBEY 3102-Week 3

This week, Mdm Foziah told me to contact Abg Rizal in order to find two books at the photocopy shop. The books entitled "Teaching English in the Primary Classroom" by Susan Halliwell and "Preparing and Using Visual Aids for English Language Teaching” by Nor Azlina Yunus. However, I forgot about the books as I had a fever for the whole week. Luckily, Mdm Foziah reminded about the books and I managed to talk to Abg. Rizal in order to get the books.  

Second Week

For this week, all the doubt was gone. I got clearer view about this subject. The class also becomes more exciting. Mdm Foziah shared about her experience while she was in US. We wonder how happening and exciting to be in another country. At this moment, we became more comfortable and friendly with Mdm Foziah. She is very open-minded lecturer. She also had thought us on completing the module 1. The main function of “print-screen button” is to view items on our screen. Then, Mdm Foziah told us that we need to create our blog and write a reflection after the class ends. Mdm Foziah had given us well explanation on things that we have to write in our blog. Meanwhile, the rest of the time we use it to update our blog.

The new beginning at UM

My first day at UM was quite scary and creepy. My coursemate, Hazliana and I went to see all the lecturers that will teach us for the whole sem. We were quite nervous when we were asked to see them privately in their room. However, after we have consulted the lecturers, all of them were very pleased and delighted to accept us as their students. All our nerves and worries were gone. We were very happy. The last lecturer that we consulted was Mdm Foziah. She will teach us Choosing & Using resources for the ESL classroom. I have no idea about the course. But, after Mdm Foziah explained to us about the course, we have some ideas and guidance on what we have to do for this course. For this course, it requires us to deal and practice with the ICT features and prepares us to have the knowledge of the technology. Overall, this course is totally different from the class that we have entered before. The application of technology to create teaching aids is one of the essential part to be put in for our educational field nowadays.
